Vendor Information

Application Process: Applications from new vendors must be accompanied by three (3) photos (two (2) close-ups of your work and one (1) of your display). All work must be hand crafted and that of the applicant. Commercial products are not accepted and buy-sell merchandise is limited to no greater than 10% of your total inventory. Vendors found to have majority buy-sell merchandise will be asked to remove the merchandise from the booth or may be asked to leave the festival at the end of that day, and will be disqualified from next year’s festival.

Application Deadline: Application Deadline is June 30, 2024, along with the non-refundable $25 application fee.

Selection Process: The committee reserves the right to accept or reject entrants on the basis of the photos of merchandise submitted.

Fees: The fee for a 12 x 12 single space is $250.00 and a 12 x 24 double space is $500.00.   Limited indoor space is $300.00 and is first come, first serve.  Space reservations are for two days; there are no one-day admissions.  Payment for space(s) due by August 1, 2024.  No refunds will be issued.

Space Assignments: Some spaces are located on grass, pavement, or stone.  While the Show Committee makes every effort to ensure space assignments, space assignments cannot be guaranteed. The Silver Lake Sea Serpent Arts and Crafts Show Executive committee reserves the right to modify space assignments as may be required.

Most spaces are vehicle accessible for setup, which you may begin after 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2024, Friday October 11th from 9:00 AM thru 9:00 PM and also between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 & 13, 2024.

Vendors are responsible for their own tents, tables and displays. Please do not leave behind any garbage or refuse at your booth. Participants must exhibit the total number of days for which they have paid. 

Vendor Parking: There is a designated parking lot for all Vendors. Handicapped vendor parking is in a designated location within the Vendor parking lot. The Vendor parking lot will accommodate all craft vendors as well as food concession vendors. Only vendors with Silver Lake Sea Serpent parking permits will be permitted entry to the Vendor parking area.

Limited craft vendor vehicles or trailers will be permitted to park within the Perry Fireman’s Grounds.

Waiting List: Eligible applicants who did not receive a space assignment will be asked to join a waiting list. Available spaces will only be filled from this list.

Prizes: A panel of judges will anonymously observe exhibitor displays on Saturday. Five (5) winners will be awarded a free single space admission to next year’s show.  The prize will be awarded based on display/merchandise appearance, creativity, and overall exuberance that promotes a successful show and customer satisfaction. 

 

Other Information:

1.  All exhibitors are responsible for collecting and reporting New York State and Local Sales Tax, currently 8%.  Exhibitors must be registered with New York State and display a “Certificate of Authority” at all times during the sale.

2.  Artisans are responsible for procuring and maintaining their liability insurance and must provide a Certificate of Insurance by September 16, 2024. The certificate should list Perry Rotary Club (PO Box 103, Perry, NY 14530) and the Perry Fire Department (PO Box 243, Perry, NY 14530).

3.  There are no rain dates in case of inclement weather.

4.  No artist-owned animals are allowed in or around Artists’ booths (service dogs are permitted at all times).
