Who We Are

The Perry Rotary Club and the Perry Fire Department are two service oriented groups in the Perry Community.  The Perry Rotary Club is made up of neighbors, friends, family, community participants, and global citizens uniting for the common good and committing to “Service Above Self.”  With the funds raised through various projects, Rotarians are able to make our communities and our world a better place to live, work, and play.  The Perry Rotary Club supports many school projects, such as school milk program, provide enrichment grants to local school districts, and provide annual scholarships for graduating students.  The Rotary Summer Camp (summer camp experience for children with special needs) is another project they help support, along with providing funding to Shake on the Lake.    Several completed community projects include the playground equipment at the Perry Village Park, along with constructing the park’s Splash pad and bathrooms.

The Perry Fire Department provides critical support to the Perry Community and operates completely with volunteers.  The volunteers are committed to serving and protecting their community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round.  They provide life safety, incident containment, property safety, environmental safety, and they help educate the public.  In order to do so, they must commit to mandated state training and purchasing expensive firefighting equipment.

Together, the Perry Rotary Club and the Perry Fire Department hope to raise needed funds for their organizations, while also providing their community access to beautiful artisan goods.   A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Arts Council for Wyoming County, an organization that has been supporting and producing arts in Wyoming County for over 40 years.   We hope to see you in October!
